Endodontics

Endodontic therapy - commonly known as root canal therapy - used in teeth whose nerve system is diseased or dead. Due to serious decay or accidents, the pulp is exposed and infected, resulting in necrosis and inflammation of nerve tissues. Nerve tissues are in small canals along the roots of the teeth, along with blood vessels.

The infected part is removed with a special procedure and equipment. The infected tissue is removed; root canals are cleaned, disinfected and then sealed up to prevent recurrence of infection.

This painless procedure is completed in 1-3 appointments.
